Stridonaut Privacy Policy

Overview

Stridonaut is designed to work without creating an account and without sending your run data to Stridonaut-operated servers.

Stridonaut does not collect, store, or sell personal data from within the app.

Stridonaut may use the following information on your device so the app can function:

Location data during an active run, to measure distance and support background run tracking
Run history, mission progress, achievements, and settings
Notification permission status, to schedule local trajectory reminders on your device
Purchase entitlement status from Apple, to determine whether premium missions are unlocked

Your run and location data stay on your device
Stridonaut only tracks location during an active run
Stridonaut does not transmit your run history, mission progress, or location data to Stridonaut-operated servers

Stridonaut lets you export your data to a JSON backup file.

Exported backups are created only when you choose to export them
Backup files are stored or shared only through the locations and services you choose
Once you export a backup outside the app, its privacy depends on where you save or send it

If you buy or restore premium missions, purchase processing is handled by Apple through the App Store.

Stridonaut does not receive your full payment details.

If you allow notifications, Stridonaut schedules local notifications on your device for mission trajectory events.

These notifications are generated and stored by iOS on your device unless you disable them or remove the app.
